Over Christmas, my entire life was turned upside down by false allegations, which led to misdemeanor charges and a protective order. I was scared, overwhelmed, and honestly didn’t know how I was going to get through it. I called Tad Nelson & Associates Christmas Eve.
From the very beginning, Tad went above and beyond. He gave me his personal cell phone number and answered every call and every text, even during the holidays and on weekends. I never once felt ignored or brushed off — I felt like I mattered.
That Saturday, I met with Tad to complete paperwork. He told me that he and his team would do everything they could to get me home by New Year’s Eve so I could see my family.
On Monday morning, Tad and Amber were already at the courthouse by 8:00 AM, fighting hard to have the charges dropped.
By 1:00 PM that same day, Tad called me and told me my charges were COMPLETELY DISMISSED. I collapsed. I dropped to the ground crying in disbelief. One phone call changed everything — fear, panic, and uncertainty turned into overwhelming relief.
But they weren’t done yet. The false protective order was still keeping me from my family. Tad and Amber refused to stop. Amber fought relentlessly, pushing the court again and again so I could go home.
On New Year’s Eve at 6:30 PM, both Tad and Amber personally called me and told me the words I will never forget: “The orders are signed! You can go home!”
Without Tad Nelson and Amber, I would have been separated from my family for 90 days. Because of them, it took less than 7. They didn’t just do their jobs — they fought for me, believed in me, and gave me my life back.

I knew of Tad Nelson thru community ads,etc. and after some research, I gave him a call. To my surprise I received a response from Tad and not his office staff. We spoke and agreed on a date& time to meet in his office.

Tad is NO NONSENSE! He’s the kind of lawyer that is going to be straight with you. Ms. Maricela greets you at the door and when I was a little nervous, she sat and talked to me. I felt so much better afterwards! She is an absolute JEWEL! I talked to Tad and, let me tell you, he isn’t there just to eat his lunch! My case is ongoing but, I feel 1000% better knowing he’s on the case fighting for me! Tad, Doug, Tim and Amber are a fantastic team!
